PM Says Finland Looking to Import Qatari LNG

Prime Minister of Finland, Jyrki Katainen, said that the country is looking to import liquefied natural gas from Qatar.

Katainen paid a visit to Doha to discuss the issue with Qatari government officials.

According to the Gulf Times, Finnish Gasum intends to build an LNG terminal that will serve as a distribution hub to other European countries.

Katainen was accompanied by a delegation comprising of 63 Finnish companies which are looking for investment opportunities in Qatar.
