Polarcus awarded more time in South American campaign

Marine seismic player Polarcus has received a further extension of its South American campaign for an unnamed client. 

In early February 2017, the company announced an award for an extension of the 3D marine seismic project in South America with an option for further expansion of the survey area.

The seismic player said on Thursday that the client has now chosen to exercise the expansion option, which will extend the project by an additional month.

According to the company, following this option, the total duration of the campaign extension will be four months. The survey will be acquired in 2Q-3Q 2017.
