Port of Ulsan looking to develop LNG bunkering station

Korean port of Ulsan is looking into the possibility of developing an LNG bunkering facility at the port.

Increasing usage of LNG fueled-vessels as well as stricter environmental regulations give hints of increased demand for LNG in the future.

According to local media reports, the port plans a preliminary feasibility study next year for the establishment of liquefied natural gas bunkering station.

It is also reported that a deal with Kogas and Korean LNG Bunkering Consultative Group is in the pipeline.
