Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Russia Confirm Mutual Gas Transit Obligations

On November 15 there was a phone conversation between Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov and Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

The parties, in particular, discussed the issue of transit of Russian gas to European countries through Ukraine, a statement said.

Mykola Azarov and Dmitry Medvedev confirmed that each party will do everything necessary in accordance with their obligations to ensure uninterrupted supply of adequate volumes of gas needed to consumers in Europe.
