The objective of the audit was to see how Wintershall follows up and safeguards the integrity of pipes, risers, control cables and facilities on the seabed, describing any challenges associated with barriers, condition monitoring and operation over their lifetime.

“We investigated how underwater barriers are managed and how the operation of pipe systems and subsea facilities is followed up and monitored,” PSA said.

According to PSA, no non-conformities or improvement points were identified.
