Q-Flex duo heading for South Hook
The South Hook terminal is scheduled to receive two LNG cargoes from Qatar during next week.
According to the shipping data, the first vessel, the 2007-built, 210,110 cbm LNG carrier Al Ruwais is set to dock at the UK terminal’s jetty on December 12.
The second cargo will follow only a day later. The 216,000 cbm Q-flex Al Gharrafa will arrive at the South Hook terminal on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway on December 13.
These are the second and third cargo to be delivered to the terminal in December. The South Hook terminal has the capacity to process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
