Q-Max LNG carrier Mozah bound for South Hook

One of the world’s largest LNG tankers, the 266,000 cbm Mozah, is scheduled to arrive at the UK’s South Hook import terminal next week.

The Q-Max vessel, carrying a cargo of the chilled gas from Qatar, is expected to arrive at the receiving terminal in Milford Haven on September 22.

Mozah passed through Egypt’s Suez Canal on Monday and is currently sailing in the Mediterranean Sea, shipping data shows.

The LNG tanker is long as three and a half football pitches, and it is half as high as the London Eye, according to Shell’s website.
