Qatar ships LNG to South Hook

South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway is scheduled for a delivery of Qatari cargo next week.

According to the shipping data, the 210,000 cbm LNG carrier Onaiza sailing from Qatar’s Ras Laffan port is set to arrive at South Hook on September 29.

The Q-Flex vessel was delivered to Nakilat in 2009 from the Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and chartered on a long-term deal to Qatargas.

Commissioned in 2010, South Hook LNG has the capacity to process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG annually and it is owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total.
