Qatar ships more LNG to Belgium

Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge terminal in Belgium is scheduled to receive LNG cargo from Qatar.

The 165,500 cbm Arwa Spirit, operated by Teekay, departed from Qatar’s port of Ras Laffan on January 18, and is scheduled to dock at Zeebrugge terminal’s jetty around February 4, shipping data reveals.

The Arwa Spirit was built by the South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy in 2008 and was initially part of the Maersk LNG fleet, sailing under the name Maersk Arwa.

Belgium’s  Zeebrugge LNG terminal has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas importing the liquefied natural gas mainly from Qatar.
