Qatargas Participates in ‘Made in Qatar’ Exhibition

Qatargas is participating in the second edition of ‘Made in Qatar’ exhibition, which is currently being held at Doha Exhibition Center and is organised by Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Industry.

Qatargas is the Gold Sponsor of this four-day event that showcases high quality products made in Qatar. The exhibition was opened on Tuesday by the Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. His Excellency Abdulla Bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Deputy Premier and Minster of Energy and Industry, and Sheikh Khalid Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer, Qatargas, attended the opening ceremony.

Commenting on the company’s participation in the exhibition, Sheikh Khalid Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer, Qatargas, said, “We are proud to be associated with this exhibition which is a significant initiative that boosts local industries. As a company that pioneered Qatar’s LNG industry, Qatargas is keen to support the national efforts aimed at diversifying the local economy.”

Qatargas’ pavilion in the exhibition showcases its liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities including offshore well-head platforms, onshore operations, seven LNG trains and receiving terminals across the globe. Information on Qatargas markets, the stages of LNG production right from drilling to distribution and the largest fleet of state-of-the-art LNG ships is also provided.

Made in Qatar exhibition features 180 companies from various sectors, which are grouped in four sections – Manufacturing and Food Industries; Petrochemicals, General, Medium and Small Enterprises.
