Qatargas to Deliver Eight LNG Cargoes to KPC

Qatargas said it has signed an agreement with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) to supply KPC with liquefied natural gas in 2014.

Under the agreement, eight LNG cargoes will be delivered to Kuwait by the end of the year.

The LNG is sourced from Qatargas 2 – Train 4, a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil which started production in 2009, and delivered onboard Q-Flex LNG vessels to KPC’s Mina Al-Ahmadi LNG receiving terminal in Kuwait.
