Qatari LNG bound for Zeebrugge

Belgium’s Zeebrugge liquefied natural gas terminal is scheduled to receive another shipment of Qatari LNG in December.

The 145,800 cbm Simaisma LNG carrier departed from Ras Laffan on November 23 and is due at the Zeebrugge LNG terminal on December 9, port data shows.

Fluxys-operated Zeebrugge terminal is one of the major European LNG hubs able to receive 110 carriers per year.

The terminal consists of 4 LNG tanks totaling 380,00 cbm, a truck loading station, an existing jetty with one more jetty under construction and due to be completed in 2015.
