RasGas to Take Part in Qatar Career Fair

RasGas Company Limited, one of the world’s leading liquefied natural gas producers, is gearing up to meet with young ambitious Qataris at the upcoming Qatar Career Fair (QCF) 2013 next month. The company’s participation is expected to boost its Qatarization scheme attracting top talent for its scholarships, summer internships and job openings.

“RasGas is delighted to be participating in the Qatar Career Fair for the seventh consecutive year. This year, we are unveiling a big secret at our stand and we invite young Qataris to visit us at the stand to hear the secret,” said Erhama Al-Kaabi, Chief Employee Development and Welfare Officer at RasGas.

RasGas was one of the first Qatari companies to participate in the QCF and has since recruited countless Qatari talent. Currently, about 32.8% of its total workforce is made up of Qataris.

“The week-long fair provides us with an excellent platform to meet and connect with young Qataris who are looking to build a dynamic career in the LNG sector. This is also a great opportunity for RasGas to raise greater awareness on the Energy sector and the safety and environment standards that we maintain not just in Qatar but internationally as well,” he added.

In addition to participating at QCF, RasGas also recently participated for the sixth consecutive year at the Annual Career Fair for Qatari students in the UK held in London last February as well as numerous career fairs at local universities. The QCF 2013 will run from the 1st-6th of next month at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
