The contract has been awarded by the CCS joint venture, a consortium of contractors acting on behalf of Anadarko Petroleum.

Under the contract, RBR will play a key role in the ‘Skills Roadshow’ an initiative launched jointly by the country’s government and Anadarko, which will see job applicants assessed in five core technical disciplines: scaffolding, rigging, pipe-fitting, steel erecting and noncritical welding.

RBR will undertake these assessments using its mobile training units over several weeks, commencing in the first quarter of 2019.

The company sees the contract as a step in supplying assessment, training and labour hire services for the LNG construction in Mozambique.
