Reach Subsea and MMT secure more work

Reach Subsea and MMT have won several contracts and call-offs under frame agreements for 2020 execution.

The contracts represent about 450 project days.

The projects involve inspection, survey and construction support across Europe and the Americas, in the oil & gas and renewables sectors.

With the addition of these contracts, our schedule indicates good utilization during the summer season.

Reach said it now has about 750 project days for 2020 execution, and also about 250 days for 2021 execution.

The company further added that the projects are going ahead as planned, but that in these times things could change.

Jostein Alendal, CEO of Reach Subsea, stated:

“We have taken serious measures to ensure the safety of our personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has been very successful so far.”

P-O Sverlinger, CEO of MMT, noted it is good that some of the ROV project days come primarily from the renewables sector.

Norwegian subsea contractor Reach and Swedish survey specialist MMT teamed up on offshore survey and ROV services in 2014.

They jointly launched the Surveyor Interceptor ROV.

The Surveyor Interceptor is a specialised fast underwater survey platform.

It delivers subsea services such as general offshore survey, lay support, seabed mapping and pipeline/structure inspections.
