Report: Simon Møkster sheds 20-year-old anchor handler

Simon Møkster Shipping, a Norway-based offshore vessel owner, has reportedly sold one of its anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessels.

VesselsValue, a website providing intel on offshore and shipping world including the valuations of the various kinds of vessels, said that Cyprus-headquartered offshore vessel owner Sevnor bought the Stril Power AHTS on Monday.

The price that Sevnor paid for the anchor handler was left undisclosed.

As for the vessel, it was built in 1997 by Aukra Yard in Norway. The Stril Power is 75 meters long, 18 meters wide, and can accommodate 33 people.

Earlier this year, Simon Møkster Shipping sold the Stril Commander and Still Challenger anchor handlers to an unnamed buyer.
