Ross Offshore CEO leaves to pursue other interests

Norway’s Ross Offshore has appointed Jørgen L. Jørgensen as interim CEO of the company. Frode Losnedal (photo), the previous CEO, is leaving Ross Offshore to join a new tail end focused E&P company supported by HitecVision VII L.P.

“Ross Offshore will thank Frode Losnedal for his dedication and strong contribution to the development of the company, and we welcome him and his new employer as an important newcomer to the offshore energy sector and Ross Offshore”, says Christian Brinch, chairman of the board in Ross Offshore.

Jørgen Jørgensen has been part of the Ross Offshore team since 2006 and has until recently headed up the company´s Subsurface business unit.

Ross Offshore is today a leading provider of well management, consultancy, engineering, marine & logistic and project management services to the upstream oil & gas industry on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The company offers its products and services through four business units; Drilling & Well, Marine & Logistics, Subsurface and Well Intervention and P&A.

In addition, the Resources unit supports all business units by providing single placement consultant services. The service offering covers the complete life of filed cycle from early-phase geological studies to well abandonment. Ross Offshore employs some 260 employees and consultants and has offices in Stavanger, Bergen, Sandefjord and Copenhagen.
