Roxtec Cable Transits for World’s Largest FLNG Facility

Cable and pipe seal provider Roxtec has delivered cable transits for the 488-meter long hull of Shell’s Prelude FLNG (floating liquefied natural gas) facility that is under construction at the Samsung Heavy Industries.

Roxtec cable transits are used in deck/bulkheads onboard the Prelude FLNG in order to ensure safety, efficiency and operational reliability. Roxtec has also secured orders for topside and turret scopes.

Once complete, Prelude FLNG will be the largest floating facility ever built.
