RTE Looks for Surveyor for Subsea Cable Laying Projects

RTE, the electricity transmission system operator of France, has issued call for bids for subsea cable laying studies services for projects located in metropolitan France, outside France and in Europe.

The studies involve marine navigation and fishing and the associated risks for energy cables.

Namely, the studies should be aimed at providing collection of navigation data analysis and fishery data analysis in identifying risks to subsea cables.

RTE will require inventory and risk analysis of navigational activities and risk analysis of fishing activities to assists in its subsea cable-laying projects. Furthermore, RTE said that the studies should use bibliographic and statistical data analyses to meet its needs.

The deadline for the submission of tenders is March 23, 2016.
