RusselSmith Appoints New Chief Executive

RusselSmith Nigeria has appointed Kayode Adeleke as the new chief executive officer, effective from January 01, 2018.

He succeeds Leslie Oghomienor who has been appointed the executive chairman of the company.

Kayode Adeleke joined RusselSmith in 2001 and has been a part of the team for over 16 years.

He began in the role of executive director, Finance & Technology before moving on to be the deputy managing director. Before assuming this new position, he served as the senior executive vice president.

I am truly honored to lead this great company into the future. RusselSmith has always had a vision to become a world-class company, and looking back at how far we have come, it has indeed been wonderful so far, being part of an indigenous company which delivers true world-class quality services in Nigeria’s oilfield services sector,” said Adeleke.

This organizational restructuring comes at a time when the company is expanding its services to deliver more robust subsea solutions, as demonstrated by its recent partnership with 4Subsea, a Norwegian subsea company, RusselSmith said.
