‘Sea Supra’ begins work in Mediterranean Sea

Deep Sea Supply  has been awarded a contract for its ‘Sea Supra’ platform supply vessel.

'Sea Supra' begins work in Mediterranean Sea

The company did not reveal the name of the client but said the contract was signed with an international oil company for operation in the Mediterranean Sea.

Deep Sea Supply also said that the agreed contract period was for 140 days plus 1 month option. The vessel began the operations Tuesday, August 12.

The vessel is 88.9 metres long and 19 metres in the beam and equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system. The cargo deck area is approximately 1,000 m2 and the vessel has a deadweight of 4,500 tons.

It was built in the Zhejiang shipyard in China.
