    New data has reported that Australia’s 24 percent southern blue fin tuna quota cut in 2009 was not necessary, ATuna has reported. The industry is now pushing for the lost quota to be reinstated. The news comes following a meeting in Tokyo last week of the Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna (CCSBT).
