Setpoint I.S. wins valve deal for Cameron LNG

Setpoint Integrated Solutions, an industrial supplier of engineered process control solutions, said that it has been awarded a valve contract by CB&I and Chiyoda JV for the Cameron LNG terminal in Louisiana.

Setpoint I.S. will be engaged in selecting, sourcing and providing the majority of the automated on-off valves, control valves and safety relief valves, the company informed in a statement.

The company will engineer, size, specify, assemble and provide thorough documentation packages for execution.

Cameron LNG recently initiated the pre-filing review with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to expand the company’s three-train liquefaction export project currently under construction.

The expansion project is expected to include two additional liquefaction trains (trains No. 4 and No. 5) and one additional full containment LNG storage tank (tank No. 5) capable of increasing LNG production capacity by 9.97 million metric tons per annum or 1.41 billion cubic feet per day.

The company said that if approved, Cameron LNG’s export capacity will be 24.92 Mtpa, or 3.53 Bcfd.
