Singapore Minister Announced as Official Guest of Honour at World LNG Series: Asia Pacific Summit

Mr Teo Ser Luck, Minister of State for Trade and Industry and Mayor for North East District CDC, Republic of Singapore, has been announced as the official guest of honour at the World LNG Series: Asia Pacific Summit 2011, held at the Shangri La Hotel, Singapore from 19-21 September 2011.

Teo Ser Luck was appointed the Minister of State for Trade and Industry on 21 May 2011.  He is also Mayor of the North East District Community Development Council. Prior to this, Ser Luck was elected Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC in May 2006 and recognised as a young global leader by the World Economic Forum in 2007 for his contribution to the business and community services sectors.  He also received the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from his alma mater (NTU) in the same year.  While in the private sector, he has also received accolades as global outstanding manager in business and operational excellence.

Organisers, the CWC Group, said they are proud to welcome Ser Luck as guest of honour to the 3rd Annual World LNG Series: Asia Pacific Summit, known in the industry as a highly influential buyers and sellers meeting, bringing delegates from over 150 companies across the world.

The Summit is also supported by government agency International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s statutory board, Energy Market Authority and the Gas Association of Singapore, as well as a host of industry leading sponsors. IE Singapore’s Chief Executive Officer, Teo Eng Cheong, will be officially opening the Summit on 20th September 2011.
