SINN Power was invited to attend the Cleantech Open (CTO) Global Forum, which is a 3-day event to pave the way towards a sustainable future. Startups get an opportunity to meet potential partners and investors of the cleantech industry.

As part of the nomination as semi-finalist of the StartGreen Award 2019, Germany’s largest network for green startups, founder and investors, the RKW Kompetenzzentrum nominated SINN Power as one of the three national champions for the CTO Global Ideas Challenge and supported the trip to Los Angeles, USA.

The CTO Global Forum features an annual industry get-together and consists of a unique pitch workshop, several investor rounds with America’s best-known cleantech investors and two competitions, the CTO National Challenge and the CTO Global Ideas Challenge to distinguish innovations, both nationally and globally. The network discusses current climate issues and identifies environmentally-friendly technologies and solutions.

Johannes Stuck, head of Business Development at SINN Power, said: β€œI am very proud that we were able to take the award home as the Global Ideas Winner 2019! I am also very thankful to be a part of this impressive network and all the interesting talks we were enabled to have.”

Philipp Sinn, CEO SINN Power, added: β€œIt is very impressive to experience first-hand how this network offers startups and their innovations great support from the industry to pave the way towards a sustainable future. We also really enjoyed meeting other partners of CTO such as the Network for Global Innovation (NGIN) and the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) – the entire network is committed to support young businesses in a very special way.”
