Sinopacific Shipbuilding, Rolls-Royce Talk Cooperation

An Executive Delegation from Rolls-Royce, a global supplier of power systems, visited Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group (SSG, SINOPACIFIC) on Nov. 28th 2013.

Led by Lowie Haynes, President of Rolls-Royce Marine and Nuclear, the delegation was given an introduction presented by SSG Chairman & CEO, Mr. Simon Liang, concerning the development of SSG. Both parties found that they share common values, strategic development ideas and cultural orientation during their discussion. Rolls-Royce executives expressed their intention to establish a strategic partnership together.

The conference was also attended by SSG Co-CEO Mr. JIANG Qiang, CMO Mr. LOU Jiwei, CTO Mr. ZHAO Ye, and Managing Director of Supply Chain Centre Ms. Vivian Ye.

Representatives of both parties expressed their desire to maintain an open mindset and create an effective strategic cooperation, with a view to providing customers with enhanced customization and advanced value-integrated-innovative services so that together, the two companies could find benefits in the ever-changing global OSV market and ensure sustainable development.

Sinopacific Shipbuilding, Rolls-Royce Talk Cooperation

Rolls-Royce is the supplier of power systems to SSG and both parties have been continuously consolidating their relationship over the past years. Recently, Rolls-Royce secured an order to provide both the design and the integrated equipment packages for two UT 771 WP platform supply vessels (PSV) to be built by SSG, marking another significant step forward in the cooperation between the two companies.
