Sonardyne to Exhibit at UDT and WSS

Over the coming weeks Sonardyne International will be exhibiting at two important maritime defence and security exhibitions: Undersea Defence Technology (UDT), 29th-31st May in Spain and WaterSide Security (WSS), 28th-30th May in Singapore.

The world’s most comprehensive event for those involved in the undersea defence and security sectors, UDT is the leading platform for showcasing new technology and networking with key suppliers. Located on Stand G15 as part of the UKTI pavilion, Sonardyne will be exhibiting Sentinel, the biggest selling underwater diver detection sonar; Nidar, an integrated command and control system providing maritime awareness for vessels, ports and waterside installations; and Solstice, a low power side scan sonar which delivers extreme multi-beam imaging performance, especially in shallow water and from platforms with limited stability.

WSS 2012, held at the Republic Polytechnic, Singapore, invites professionals with a common interest in waterside security from a variety of disciplines where protecting ports, harbours, coastal and inland waters from the threats of terrorism and criminal activity requires innovative thinking. Sonardyne’s Strategic Development and Marketing Director, Rob Balloch, will also be presenting a paper on Day 1, titled ‘An EC-funded, cost-effective approach to surface and sub-surface protection of coastal and maritime infrastructure.’

“UDT and WSS are both key exhibitions for Sonardyne in the maritime security sectors,” commented Rob Balloch. “The events are an opportunity to showcase our latest technological developments and to meet with our customers to discuss and identify the best solutions for their defence and security needs.”
