South Hook set for Qatari LNG cargo

South Hook LNG terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway is scheduled to receive another cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar.

Loaded at the Ras Laffan facility, the 210,110 cbm, 2007-built Al Safliya LNG carrier set sail to the UK and is scheduled to dock at the terminal’s jetty on July 20, according to shipping data.

This will be the fourth delivery of Qatari cargo to the South Hook LNG terminal this month.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
