South Korea: Dae Sun Shipbuilding Hands Over SITC QINGDAO

The naming and delivery ceremony of M/V “SITC QINGDAO ” was successfully held on November 22, 2012, in Busan, Korea. The ceremony was organized by SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd. (SITC Holdings) and Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering Co., Ltd.

M/V “SITC QINGDAO ” is the second eco-type 1,100 TEU container vessel delivered by Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering to SITC Holdings in 2012. She is also the tenth vessel received by SITC Holdings in this year. After delivery, the vessel will join the CJV4 route service.

On behalf of both parties, Mr. Xiao Senyuan, President of SITC Shipowning Group Co., Ltd. and Mr. Jin Qichang, Director of Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering, signed the delivery documents at the ceremony. Honored guests from SITC Brokers, ABS, Norges Bank and Mr. An Zairong, Senior director of Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering attended the ceremony.
