KOGAS Plans to Import 36,46 Million Tonnes of LNG in 2012

KOGAS, the world’s largest corporate buyer of liquefied natural gas, plans to import about 36,46 million tonnes of LNG this year, the company said in a filing with the stock exchange.

The company also said that it expects to post 211 billion won in net profit for 2012.

South Korea’s KOGAS currently operates three LNG terminals and a nationwide pipeline network spanning over 2,739km.
