South Korea: March LNG Imports Drop 1.2 Pct YoY

South Korea, the world’s second-largest buyer of LNG, imported 4.11 million tonnes of LNG in March, down 1.21 percent from the same month in 2013.

The average LNG price paid rose to $16.45/mn Btu in March, compared with $15.20/mn Btu in March of 2013.

South Korea’s Kogas said its LNG sales volume totaled 3.52 million tons in March, down 0.9 percent compared to the same month in 2013.
