South Korea to Get LNG Cargo

South Korea, the world’s second biggest buyer of LNG, is due to get a liquefied natural gas cargo from Qatar, according to shipping data.

The 135,000 cbm Hyundai Technopia departed from Ras Laffan in Qatar on Friday and it is expected to arrive at the Tongyeong LNG terminal on February 16.

Tongyeong LNG import terminal, operated by Kogas, has a nominal annual capacity of 17.04 million tons of LNG and started its operations in 2002.
