Spotted: A Visit to the Pigeon Island

In today’s spotted we have a special treat for you. We caught on camera last week a number of cruise ships calling at Turkey’s cruise hub Kusadasi.

The cruise port is located in the west of the city and is flanked by the marina and Güvercinada, known as the ‘Pigeon Island’.

The port can accommodate the biggest cruise ships of today, hosting several cruise ships at one time, as shown in our gallery.

The gallery features Star Breeze passenger ship, operated by Windstar Cruises, on the left, followed by Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas, a 1997-built Vision-class cruise ship, in the middle and Celebrity Cruises’ Constellation, on the far right.

The city is a popular destination for tourists interested in visiting the ancient city of Ephesus and Pamukkale, a natural site in Denizli Province in southwestern Turkey.
