DP World Santos is the country’s largest private multimodal port terminal and has an annual capacity of 1.2 million TEU.

The newbuilding and its sister ship HMM Blessing were recently delivered to South Korean shipping company Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) from Hanjin Subic yard in the Philippines.

With a length of 329 meters and a width of 48 meters, HMM Promise has a gross tonnage of 112,300 tons.

This New Panamax boxship currently has a market value of USD 73.94 million, according to data provided by VesselsValue.

HMM Promise and its twin vessel are equipped with scrubber systems to reduce sulfur emissions.

Additionally, the ships were retrofitted with external lashing bridges in order to increase their standard capacity and accommodate more 40-foot containers on board.
