Owned by Nordic American Tankers, the ship was built by Japanese Universal Shipbuilding Corporation in 2003.

With a gross tonnage of 78,922 tons, the vessel has a length of 274 meters and a width of 48 meters.

The tanker, which flies the flag of the Cayman Islands, is one of 30 vessels in NAT’s fleet.
