Subsea Energy’s Equipment for Minesto’s Deep Green Project

Subsea Energy Solutions has been contracted by Swedish Minesto to supply subsea equipment package for the Deep Green (DG500) tidal demonstrator project located at the Holyhead Deep in North Wales.

The DG500 project is the first installation of Minesto’s marine energy technology in utility scale, which is planned for commissioning and operation in 2018.

Subsea Energy Solutions delivery consists of equipment required to support the subsea cable arrangement, from seabed cable support structures to the topside micro grid system buoy.

The company has already designed and manufactured a range of products including Sub-Fairings – lower and upper tether fairings, Sub-Link buoyancy vertebrae bend restrictors, Sub-CSS cable support structures, Sub-Clamp touch down swivel clamps, Sub-Clamp cable gripper clamps, Sub-Buoy distributed buoyancy units, Sub-Flex vertebrae bend restrictors and Sub-Hang topside hang-off clamps.
