Swire said on Monday that the framework agreement, awarded by Wintershall Norge, would begin this year. The contract has a duration of three years plus four yearly options.

The work to be performed under this agreement includes the supply of vessel and services which encompasses survey, IMR, and light construction.

According to the company, the agreement is call-off based, meaning that during the course of the frame agreement, Wintershall can award MSS contracts on an as-needed basis.

Swire Seabed CEO, Arvid Pettersen, said: “This agreement highlights the confidence in our ability to deliver safe and efficient solutions to meet our clients’ needs and reinforces Swire Seabed’s position as a trusted subsea services provider in the survey, IMR, and light construction market.”
