Taiwan receives Malaysian LNG cargo

Taiwan’s Yung-An LNG terminal received a cargo of the chilled gas from Malaysia on Thursday.

MISC-operated LNG carrier Puteri Nilam Satu, with a capacity of 137,100 cbm, is currently docked at CPC’s import terminal in Kaohsiung county, shipping data shows.

Taiwan has two regasification terminals, located in the central and southern parts of the island.

State-owned CPC is also planning to build a third LNG import terminal to serve the northern region near Taipei.
