TAS Offshore Sells AHTS

Malaysia’s TAS Offshore Berhad (TAS) has sold an Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel, valued at around RM38 million ($11.9 million).

“The vessel was sold to one of our new foreign customers,” TAS Offshore said in a statement, without revealing the buyer’s identity.

The vessel is expected to be delivered later this month.

The revenue generated from the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of TAS Group for financial year ending 31 May 2014.
