Ten Jack-Ups for East Sunrise

Hong Kong-based East Sunrise Group revealed that it has ordered ten jack-up platforms from China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC).

 
The newbuilds, worth around USD 1.6 billion, are scheduled for delivery within 18 months from the start of construction.

The first platform is expected to join East Sunrise Group by early 2016, whereas the rest will follow within three month intervals.

The jack-ups feature 81.3m in length, 40.4m in width and 5.8m in depth, boasting a deck area of about 1,500 m3 each.

East Sunrise Group is engaged in international shipping, ship leasing and offshore engineering operations.
