TenneT Seeks Offshore Wind Farm Services

TenneT TSO GmbH has invited tenders for offshore wind farm services as part of authorisation for planning approval process, divided into: engineering, environmental professional planning, and project coordination.

The required services throughout the planning approval process for an offshore wind power connection systems comprise 2 phase elements.

Phase 1: These services are to be provided for the creation of the interpretation of application documents for the planning approval process and for the technical assistance and monitoring of the project sponsors.

Phase 2: This phase includes for the actual approval process interpretation of the documents. The services under the approval planning procedure are to be performed, and can professionally be divided in the following sub-regions:

– Engineering: The technical performance plan includes all co-ordination meetings with authorities, stakeholders, other departments and the Client, the creation of all technical documents as well as the Project Management for working out the technical aspects of the event approval procedure for interpretation, discussion and decision- making (including objection management),

– Environmental professional planning: The environmental professional performance plan includes all co-ordination meetings with authorities, stakeholders, other departments and the Client, the production of all environmental technical documents and the Project Management for working out the technical aspects of the event approval procedure for interpretation, discussion and decision-making (including objection management),

– Project co-ordination: The project co-ordination involves the co-ordination of technical and environmental planning, schedule tracking, the compilation of the plan approval documents incl. test completeness and plausibility, and the co-ordination of the technical and environmental professional concerns during the approval process for the design, discussion and decision-making (including objection management).

The deliverables are divided into the following lots:

  • Lot 1: Services under the approval planning for a planning approval process on the seafront (a 12 nautical mile limit to the transition point of the land cable), technical and environmental planning.
  • Lot 2: Services under the approval planning fora planning approval process on the land side (transfer point of the submarine cable to the country cable to the transformer station), environmental technical planning.
  • Lot 3: Services under the approval planning for a planning approval process on the land side (transfer point of the submarine cable to the country cable to the transformer station), technical planning.
  • Lot 4: Services under the approval documentation for more planning approval processes on sea and land, project co- ordination.

An assignment of Lots 1, 2, 3 (single/combined) to a contractor excludes and, conversely, a commission for Lot 4 of this contractor.
