Terntank Orders Another LNG-Powered Duo

Terntank of Denmark said it has ordered further two LNG-fuelled 15,000 DWT tankers. 

With this order, Terntank has now four 15,000 DWT tankers on order at the Chinese shipyard Avic Dingheng Shipbuilding.

The vessels will be delivered at three-month intervals so that the first one will be delivered in the spring of 2016 and the fourth in the beginning of 2017.

They will be equipped with a dual fuel main engine from Wärtsilä and an “advanced” hull design from Rolls Royce.
