The Netherlands: Periplus' IMS Receives ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 Certifications

Periplus announced that its Integrated Management System (IMS) is now certified to ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

The final audit was performed by Bureau Veritas in March 2012. The IMS bundles the Quality Management System and Health & Safety Management System. It is used and operated on a daily basis by all the employees and with it Periplus warrants the quality of the services and products. Moreover, it contains the means and procedures with which they secure the health and safety of the employees during the performance of their daily work.

Whilst Periplus has been operating to globally accepted standards for a number of years they consider this formalized certification as a recognition and confirmation of their approach towards Quality, Health and Safety. At the same time Periplus acknowledges that they will benefit from internal and external input and suggestions for improvement. Periplus therefore invites all their stakeholders to remain critical and keep providing them with valuable feedback.

The Periplus Group is a consultancy organization providing specialized personnel and knowledge in the field of hydrography and related disciplines such as geology, geophysics, marine archeology, GIS, data processing, data management and engineering.
