Just like its sister ship, Thun Lidkoping, the tanker will enter the Gothia Tanker Alliance network.

Thun London is the second in a series of five resource efficient, high quality tankers built by China’s Avic Dingheng Shipbuilding, according to the company.

The L-class tanker has been designed and developed in-house. Focus on environmental care, new regulations and customers’ needs has been key in the design and building process of this vessel type, the company explained.

The new 18,650 dwt tanker will enter into the Gothia Tanker Alliance network with crewing and technical management by MF Shipping Group.
