Three Vessels to Build Global Tech I (Germany)

From now on, the jack-up vessel Brave Tern from Fred. Olsen Windcarrier will work on the installation of wind turbines in the Global Tech I wind farm. This means, according to plan, a second vessel will supplement the installation work of towers and nacelles in addition to HOCHTIEF’s vessel Thor at the North Sea wind farm.

DECC: Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm ‘Provisionally Affordable’

In order to ensure that the UK remains on track to meet its renewable energy obligation targets by 2020, the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has announced that it has chosen sixteen renewable energy generation projects which are ‘provisionally affordable’ in the Final Investment Decision Enabling for Renewables (FIDeR) process.
