Alstom Dives in French Offshore Wind Opportunities

Alstom has announced the signature of an exclusive partnership agreement with STX France, during a meeting of the Region Pays de la Loire strategic committee on marine energies that was held in Nantes on December 6.

In the next few days, HOCHTIEF Solutions will commission a further powerful jack-up vessel for the construction of offshore wind farms. In the company of around 300 guests from the European offshore market the ship named VIDAR will officially be commissioned in Bremerhaven on December 12.

Drydocks World lifted the 10,000-tonne topside of the first gravity base of the semi-submersible and world’s largest offshore HVDC platform structure DolWin beta to a height of 52.8 metres from the dock bottom.
