Singapore’s Sembawang Shipyard has acquired all the membership interests in Equinox Offshore Brazil Cooperative U.A and shares in Equinox Offshore ARV3 BV as EO ARV3 was unable to fulfill its payment obligations for the conversion of the accommodation and repair vessel ARV3 by Sembawang Shipyard.

 

HRT Announces Sub-Commercial Oil Discovery Offshore Namibia

HRT Participações em Petróleo S.A., announces that its first exploration well (Wingat-1 2212/07/1) in a multi well offshore program in Namibia has found oil although not in commercial volumes.

 

Talisman to Remove Yme Platform in Summer 2014 (Norway)

Economic Times: ONGC Hires Aban Ice Drillship

India’s drilling contractor Aban Offshore has secured a contract for its Aban Ice drillship, as reported by The Economic Times, an English-language Indian daily newspaper. According to the newspaper, the contract worth approximately $200 million comes from the India’s state-controlled oil company, ONGC.
