Exxon Hires Eirik Raude for Drilling Offshore Ireland

Ocean Rig UDW Inc., an international offshore drilling contractor,  signed definitive documentation, following the  previously announced Letter of Intent, for one of its semi-submersible drilling rigs,  the Eirik Raude, with the oil major.

 

Taqa Confirms Hydrocarbon Leak from North Sea Plaform (UK)

Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA) today confirmed that an indication of hydrocarbons was detected in one of the legs of the Cormorant Alpha platform in the northern UK North Sea at 16.15 hours local UK time on January 14.
