1. Cable Barge Sinks Off Sardinia, Italy

Prysmian inform that on July 3rd during transfer voyage from Arco Felice (Naples/Italy) to Bremenhaven (Germany) the barge AMT Explorer chartered for the transportation of power cables for Deutsche Bucht and Butendiek offshore wind farms in Germany, capsized when pulled by a tug boat.

2. Maersk Oil Learns $1.7 Bln Worth Lesson in Brasil

Maersk Oil has revised its strategy and will no longer pursue growth or operatorship for its business in Brazil. As a consequence of this, Maersk Oil has divested its ownership share in the small producing field Polvo to the operator, Brazilian independent HRT O&G Exploracao e Producao de Petroleo Ltda., subject to regulatory approvals.

3. Fugro Expects Disappointing First Half of 2014

Following a weak first quarter and due to poorer than expected results during the past months, Fugro has decided to disclose preliminary non-audited information on its performance in the first half of 2014.

4. Ezra to Merge EMAS Into EOC for $520 Mln

Ezra Holdings Limited has announced plans to consolidate its Offshore Support Services division, EMAS Marine, into its associated company, EOC Limited, which is listed on the Oslo Børs, Norway.

5. Singapore: CleanHull Completes Hull Cleaning Trials

CleanHull Singapore Pte Ltd (CleanHull), successfully performed the first environmental-friendly hull cleaning test trial at a Singapore port terminal using ROVs on 4 July 2014.
