1. European Commission Fines Cabling Cartel with USD 416 Mln

The European Commission has found that 11 producers of underground and submarine high voltage power cables operated a cartel, and has imposed fines totalling $ 416 million ( €301 million ).

2. Seaway Heavy Lifting Extends DOF Subsea’s Positioning Services Contract

DOF Subsea, provider of integrated subsea solutions, has been awarded a Master Service Agreement (MSA) extension with Seaway Heavy Lifting for the provision of positioning services onboard its Stanislav Yudin and Oleg Strashnov crane vessels.

3. Harkand Adds HOS Mystique to Its Gulf of Mexico Fleet

Harkand has entered into a charter agreement with Hornbeck Offshore for the offshore construction vessel HOS Mystique for a firm period of two years plus options.

4. Marine Contracting Awarded Jasmine Field FPSO Contract

Marine Contracting Pte Ltd., a subsidiary of offshore marine consultancy firm Global Maritime, informed that the company has been awarded a contract by Petrofac South East Asia Pte Ltd. covering the replacement of mooring and flexible riser systems for an floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO). The FPSO is located in the Jasmine Field outside Thailand.
